"Pretty disappointing for the price"
Stayed at Mantra and, i felt ripped off. The room was average at best for what we paid, and it wasn’t exactly spotless either. For that kind of price, you’d expect something a bit nicer. The extra costs also added up quickly, so the value just wasn’t there for me. I wouldn’t book again, there are definitely better places around for less...

"Service felt a bit unwelcoming"
I stayed at Mantra recently the experience felt a little off because of the staff. Check-in was cold with no real smile or welcome, and when I asked a question, it kind of felt like I was bothering them. The room itself was fine, but I was expecting clearer instructions and a bit more warmth, especially when first arriving. Overall, the service just didn’t feel very friendly.

"Bed was... rough"
The bed felt really hard, and I barely slept at all. I kept trying to get comfortable, but... it just wasn’t happening.

"Booking was such a hassle"
I tried booking through mantra.com.au and it was frustrating. The price changed when I got to checkout, the confirmation took forever to come through, and customer support didnt really help much. I probably wouldn’t use it again unless I had no other choice.

"I got there tired and..."
I got there tired and just wanted to get to my room, but check-in took way longer than it should have. The staff seemed a bit confused, and then the room key didn’t work, which was really frustrating. I also would’ve appreciated some sort of apology. The room itself was okay once I finally got in, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but the whole start to the stay left a bad impression. Not sure I’d book through them again

"Pretty uncomfortable stay"
I kind of judge a room by the basics: can I sleep well and does it feel fresh? This one missed on both. The bed was really hard, and the room felt stuffy the whole night, so I kept waking up and just didn’t get comfortable.

"Room didn’t feel properly cleaned"
I stayed in a Mantra room and, to be honest, the cleanliness was disappointing. I was already tired and not in the best mood when I checked in, so walking into dust around the bed, marks on the bathroom floor, and a bin that didn’t look properly cleaned really didn’t help.
I’m not someone who expects everything to be perfect, but I do expect the room to feel fresh when I arrive. I let reception know, but even after that it still didn’t feel properly sorted. I wouldn’t book again unless the housekeeping improves.

"Decent stay, but the amenities could be better"
Stayed at a Mantra for a quick trip and it was okay overall. The room had what I needed and the pool was decent, but I did feel a bit pressured to just accept that everything was “fine” even though some of the amenities were clearly showing their age. The towels were thin, and the gym equipment looked like it had been around for a while.
It wasn’t a bad stay, just didn’t feel like great value for what I paid. I’d probably stay again if the location worked well for me, but next time I’d definitely look more closely at the room details and what’s actually included before booking.

"Parking was surprisingly easy"
When we got there, there was plenty of parking, which made checking in so much less stressful. I always get a little annoyed when I have to circle a lot forever, especially after a long drive, but this was super easy. Kind of random, but it also gave us a minute to grab our bags without feeling rushed. Definitely made the arrival smoother

We stayed at a Mantra property recently and I’m not sure if I’m being a bit picky, but the maintenance issues really stood out. The aircon was noisy, the bathroom tap kept dripping, and a couple of lights weren’t working. We mentioned it to reception, but nothing was sorted before we left. Apart from that, the place was okay, but for the price it just felt a bit run-down and neglected.

"Felt like the problems kept adding up"
I stayed at a Mantra for the weekend and came away disappointed. At first I thought maybe it was just a rough start because check-in took ages, but then I started noticing the same kind of thing everywhere: marks on the walls, dusty corners, and a room that just didn’t feel properly cleaned.
The bed wasn’t comfortable, the shower pressure was weak, and we could hear people out in the hallway most of the night. The staff were polite, to be fair, but whenever we mentioned something, nothing really changed, which became a bit of a pattern by the end of the stay.
For what we paid, I expected a much better experience. It wasn’t one huge disaster, just lots of little issues that all pointed in the same direction. I wouldn’t book through mantra.com.au again.

"Nope, way too noisy to sleep"
I stayed at a Mantra for a quick trip my first reaction was just, wow, this is loud. I could hear people talking in the hallway, doors slamming, and traffic outside going on for most of the night.
The walls felt so thin that even with earplugs in, I kept jolting awake. I mentioned it to reception, but nothing really changed. For the price, I expected way better, and I definitely wouldn’t book again if I actually needed a decent night’s sleep.
